专利摘要:
Industrial toaster with automatic detector that regulates the power, which consists of a machine that toasts and heats by means of heating elements, leaving between them a space to introduce the products. A device that detects when the product is introduced has been included. If it is empty, the heaters are automatically regulated to a low power mode, saving energy, but keeping them at the proper temperature to quickly switch to maximum heat output when a product is detected in the heating space. It incorporates a switch for automatic or manual mode, with a light indicator that indicates it, and can also select several working powers in manual mode between the preset ones. Other switches allow you to select the heating elements you want to use. (Machine-translation by Google Translate, not legally binding)

INDUSTRIAL TOASTER WITH AUTOMATIC DETECTOR REGULATING POWER
 5
SECTOR OF THE TECHNIQUE

This Invention Patent refers to a machine designed for the toasting of bread and other similar products, of the type consumed in breakfast, snacks, etc., intended for use in hospitality, coffee shops, bars, 10 restaurants, hotels and the like, where rapid toasting is required. These machines are also used in the general industry for heating molds, plastics, preforms and a long catalog of items, including roasting grains, coffee, nuts, cereals, etc.
By means of this Patent of Invention, it will be provided with an electronic system for automatic detection of the product, which regulates its energy consumption and offers, among other advantages, considerable energy savings.

BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION
 twenty
The machine that will be described is usually presented in a rectangular steel chassis with one or more heating elements that with electric, gas or other energy, reach a high temperature and generate an important heat emission, some in the form of infrared light. This ensures that the product introduced in a space between the heating elements is heated and roasted quickly. 25 They have a tray or receptacle for this purpose.
These machines are usually always running at maximum power in the hours of demand for these products, because the pre-heating time is high and the shortest roasting time is prioritized for the speed and quality of service. Some have a timer that turns them off after a pre-programmed 30 time. There are multiple configurations, with 1, 2 or more roasting receptacles, manual or motorized, with quartz heat pipes or electrical resistors, gas, etc. In all of them the present Invention Patent applies.
 35
EXPLANATION OF THE INVENTION

The biggest drawback of these industrial toasters today is that the energy consumption is high to obtain a quick toasting. When they are cold, the heating elements are slow to reach the optimum roasting temperature and this makes the user choose not to turn it off when the product is already roasted, leaving it on for the entire duration of the service where it is applicable. There is a strong loss of energy in these times of use in a vacuum without product introduced, excessive heat emitted to the environment and deterioration of the heaters.
This Patent of Invention reduces the power of the heating elements in 10 empty moments, when there is no product placed to toast, completely automatically and without user intervention. This reduced power keeps the heaters warm, with a lower energy expenditure, but enough to quickly recover the maximum temperature when a product is introduced.
The motive machine of this Invention Patent incorporates a power regulating device 15 with various intensity levels and controlled by an automatic product detector, based on a beam of light generated by a light emitter - an LED or the like - that is detected by a receiver sensor installed at the opposite end, forming a light barrier. This beam of light is interrupted when a product is placed inside the roasting space. In the attached figures, the suggested position and operation of these sensors can be seen.
When no roasting product has been introduced, the light beam reaches the receiving sensor. In this state the control device regulates the operating power to a mode of low energy consumption, but sufficient to keep the heating elements warm. When a roasting product is introduced, the light beam is interrupted and the receiving sensor activates the regulator at maximum power. Quickly, in just a few seconds the heat emission necessary for roasting is achieved. The cycle is repeated when the product is already roasted, returning the receiving sensor to receive the light beam again and placing the regulator in the low consumption mode, again waiting for another product to be roasted. This low power status activates a light on the front for user information.
This machine has been equipped with an automatic or manual mode selector, which can disconnect the regulating device, always leaving it in a fixed power mode, between several levels, if required by the user.
It has also been equipped with the rest of the usual switch elements 35
independent of switching on or off the heating elements, leaving the user to choose which ones he wishes to use.

DESCRIPTION OF THE DRAWINGS 5

To complement the description that is being made and in order to help a better understanding of the characteristics of the invention and its operation, two figures 10 are included as an integral part of said description, where, for illustrative and non-limiting purposes, represented a case of realization of a toaster machine, with electric heaters, for hospitality, according to the principles of the claims.

Figure 1: 15
It is a front and external view of the new machine. The elements designated with numbers correspond to the following parts:
1.- Spot light beam emitter, usually an LED or any other capable of sending a light beam to the receiver (2) with sufficient intensity and in the appropriate range of light frequency. twenty
2.- Emitter light detector sensor (1) usually a photodiode or phototransistor, which works in the same light frequency range of the transmitter and activates a low power regulator for heating elements (6 and 7) when there is no product in the roasting space that interrupts the beam of light.
3.- Selector of the operating mode in automatic or manual. 25
4.- Automatic mode light, which turns on when the consumption is at low power and saving energy through the built-in regulator.
5.- Heater selectors, so that the user uses the ones he needs in each situation. They are simple power switches.
6 and 7.- Upper and lower heaters, generally infrared generating quartz bars 30 in sets of three units per line connected in series in the figure. They are internally connected to the power regulator device controlled by the light beam sensors.
8.- Removable tray, in the space where the product to be roasted is placed, at the appropriate height to interrupt the light beam with the product introduced. 35

Figure 2:
It is a scheme of electrical operation and is described below:
Marked with (1) it has a point light emitter, generally an LED capable of creating a light beam (9) directed towards the light detector sensor (2) with sufficient intensity and in the appropriate range of light frequency to avoid false detections by heat or ambient light pollution. This beam of light (9) forms a light barrier and is located at a suitable height to be interrupted when any product is introduced into the heating space.
The light detector sensor (2), generally a photodiode or phototransistor, is connected to an electronic amplifier circuit (10), which is capable of switching its output depending on whether or not the sensor (2) receives the light beam. This output controls an electronic power regulator circuit (11), which can deliver the maximum or reduced power to the heaters (6 and 7) that are active with their switches (5).
If the light beam (9) is interrupted by a product introduced in the heating space 15, the power regulator (11) delivers the maximum power to the heaters. When the product is removed, the detector circuit (10) is restored upon receiving the light beam again and places the power regulator (11) at a reduced power mode, but enough to keep the heating elements (6 and 7) and that they can quickly return to their maximum power state when a new product is introduced.
It includes a switch (3) that allows to select the automatic or manual mode, and this one with several preset power levels, which changes every time the switch is operated. An indicator light (4) indicates when the machine is in automatic and low consumption mode because the heating space is empty. 25
The advantages derived from this Patent of Invention are obvious, a considerable energy saving is obtained, greater durability of the heating elements and a more comfortable working environment for users close to the machine, by emitting much less heat at work moments in empty.
Everything that does not affect, alter, change or modify the essence of the machine 30 described, will be variable for the purposes of the current Patent.
